17-07-2020 : Puducherry on Friday reported 91 new covid-19 cases, taking the overall tally to 1832 cases in Puducherry UT.
67 patients recovered and were discharged today. 64 from Puducherry, 2 from Karaikal and 1 from Mahe were discharged today
• IGMCRI: 40 new positive Cases got admitted. 30 positive cases recovered and discharged. At present, 375 active Covid patients are in IGMC&RI
• JIPMER: 39 new positive Cases got admitted. 14 positive cases recovered and discharged. Totally 200 active cases are in admission at present.
• Covid Care Center : Today 12 cases transferred to Covid Care centers. 20 positive cases recovered. At present 109 cases in DCCC.
• Karaikal – 9 new cases reported today. At present 74 active cases at GH.
• Mahe: No active cases in Mahe. All patients cured and discharged
• Yanam: 3 new covid positive cases got admitted today. 1 patients died due to Covid today. At present 35 active cases at GH Yanam

• Totally 1014 Covid patients recovered and discharged in UT Puducherry till date.
• With 3 death reported today, Cumulative no. of covid death rises to 25 with case fatality stands at 1.36%
Yesterday 856 samples were tested of which91 were reported covid positive
