Puducherry: Today out of 442 samples tested, 43 new positive cases were reported pushing the tally to 946.
Of the fresh 43 cases reported 33 of them are from Puducherry and 10 are from Yanam.
While 15 were Male and 28 were Female, 30 cases were admitted in IGMCRI, 3 cases in JIPMER and 10 cases in Yanam GH.
As of today morning 10.00am there were 484 active cases, 448 patients were treated and discharged so far. The total fatalities in Puducherry UT is at 14 with no death reported in the last 24 hours.
43 patients were recovered and discharged in the last 24 hours, 16 of there are from IGMCRI, 12 are from JIPMER, 6 are from Covid Care Center and 9 patients from Karaikal.
The bulletin said while 11 patients were less than 18 years, 3 patients were above 60 years of age and 29 patients are of the age group 18-60.
1 patient who was under treatment in Puducherry was transferred to Andhra Pradesh.
